This site is the hub for ESU 10's Web and Digital Accessibility initiative. It's where districts and staff come to understand what accessibility compliance requires, track progress, and find hands on help meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards across websites, documents, and digital communication.

This site is organized around three questions:
The Why covers the legal and mission based case for accessibility, including current ADA Title II deadlines and compliance dates.
The What defines the scope of work, what counts as web content under the ADA rule, and what to inventory and remediate district by district.
The How is the action center: weekly tips, accessibility checkers, videos, and step by step guides for making websites, documents, and slides accessible.
Most people bookmark The How for day to day reference and check The What when they need to know if something falls under the compliance deadline.
This work is coordinated by ESU 10's Accessibility Planning and Implementation Team, a.k.a.: the "A-Team." This group set the initial priorities for the initiative, built the inventory framework in The What, and continues to guide the rollout of guides, tools, and PD across our member districts.

Hands on help with a website, document, or presentation: contact the T&L EdTech Team (Peg Coover, Jason Everett, Taylor Shepard) for one on one support.
Quick reference tools: watch the tutorial videos, use the Accessibility Checkers or browse Weekly Tips for short, practical fixes.
Training for your building or department: ask about a department or team level session. These can be scheduled through the T&L EdTech Team.
